Abstract

The article focuses on the custom car builder T & T Customs owned by Ted Thomas who values his team for winning the Ridler Award for their 1933 Ford phaeton model Gold Digger in Holly Springs, Georgia. It states that Thomas worked on race cars and became line mechanic for General Motors Corp. dealerships, however, he left the company due to car dealership politics. Moreover, he went into full-time custom car business in January 1993 and considered his team as the major part of business success.
