Abstract
- The article describes how U.S. companies are dealing with overseas labor force as of December 31, 1960. Several problems include rising wages in Europe along with decreasing work hours, the tight European labor market and slow pace of increase in European productivity. It also notes the unemployment in Scotland and Ireland, the general labor strike in Belgium and the labor restlessness in Brazil.
