Abstract
- The article offers news briefs on production technology in the U.S. as of June 23, 1962. Gulf States Paper Corp. is planning to install Prodac 580 highspeed computer systems in its Demopolis Alabama plant in 1963. Henes Mfg. Co. developed the HYDRH²O Model S welding machine that uses distilled water as a fuel and operates on an electrolytic principle. The Automation Division of U.S. Industries Inc. has developed a sensing device that uses the color of the parts for sorting them in the right position.
