Abstract

The article informs about United Western Investigation study program that is done by the U.S. Department of Interior's Bureau of Reclamation. It intends to get the water across Southwest of the U.S. which calls for rerouting water from Columbia river to arid California. The engineers admit that they can build a water system of any length if enough money is allocated to them. Supporters of Columbia river project feel that if California got the Columbia water it would solve the political issues.
