Abstract

This article predicts that Canada will continue to experience steady economic growth as it celebrates its 100th birthday. Compared to the U.S. whose growth stopped in the first half of 1967, Canada's economy has enjoyed modest expansion since January with gross national product (GNP) rising to 1.7%. Healthy export and lack of inventory work in favor of Canada's economy. Canada's finance minister, Mitchell Sharp has adopted a mild expansionary policy to ensure that the continued economic growth.
