Abstract

The article reports on the brain drain that has affected Great Britain and Europe as U.S. companies boosted their recruiting campaigns in 1966. The brain drain is moving scientific and technical talent to the U.S. which prompted the British and Europeans to mitigate the flow of engineers and technicians to prevent the impending technology gap. Higher pay and more research opportunities are luring foreign scientists and engineers to the U.S.
