Abstract

The article discusses the probable ban on television and radio advertising of cigarette and tobacco. Marlboro is reportedly the only brand that is earning under Philip Morris, the fourth leading cigarette company coming after R. J. Reynolds, American Tobacco and Brown & Williamson. R. J. Reynold's major brands such as Winston, Salem and Camel are said to be losing sales pushing the company to cut back on Camel's promotion to support Winston and introduce Doral, a strategy commonly used in the industry.
