Abstract
- The article reports on the social reform imposed by the military regime governing in Peru that raised concern among mine owners. The country's military regime ordered investors of major non-producing ore-body concessions to file a new and more precise work schedule by September 30, 1970 and to show evidence of adequate financing by the end of the year. Failure of the investors to comply with both requirements will result to the loss of the concessions to the state. The concessions include Cerro de Pasco Corp. and Southern Peru Copper Corp., among others.
