Abstract
- The author reflects on the proposed strategies to address the disproportionality in child welfare services in the U.S. He cites the importance for the juvenile court and child welfare systems to understand the scope of the strategies to ensure effectiveness in addressing the needs of the children on an individual basis. The author asserts that integration among the child welfare workers and agencies leads them to acknowledge the interconnectedness of children, families, and communities.
