Abstract

The article discusses money and market trends in the U.S. The 12 Federal Reserve banks are buying Treasury bills, which puts 29,000,000 dollars more in the credit base. The Department of Agriculture is concerned that the 1937 plantings of wheat will be exceeded in 1938. Lawyer and Chicago Great Western Railroad co-trustee Luther M. Walter has suggested that all railroads should pool their revenues to improve the financial health of weak railroad companies.
