Abstract
- The article discusses the relationship of gender perception towards computing with computer anxiety and computer self-efficacy among female and male students in the U.S. It examines the impact of the two psychological factors on gender assessment concerning computing-related education and careers between American male and female students. It further investigates the same relationship among Indian students wherein female participation in the field is rapidly intensifying due to the growing demand for information technology (IT) outsourcing worldwide.
