Abstract
- This article deals with the significance of sound public relations in corporate business in the U.S. and discusses the ways and means of acting on the problem of gaining public good-will. It points out the difference between public relations and publicity. Public relations in small companies is handled by the active head of the business, the article explains. Specific examples of what companies like Bell Telephone System and General Motors have done and are doing about public relations are cited.
