Abstract
- The article offers an overview of the U.S. money markets and business activity as of June 1936. Department store sales in June rose by 35% while automobile sales posted by General Motors increased. Southern Pacific flotation reached 60 million dollars while Federal land banks had refunding of 83 million dollars. Investors are said to be willing to buy cotton futures at higher prices.
