Abstract
- The article discusses the inconsistencies of the law by illustrating the prominent likeness between blown calls by umpires and by judges of the U.S. legal system. It cites the case between John and Theresa Sophocles and the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDoT) which is passed around by federal and state courts. It notes that just like the game, the case of the couple has hit a home run during their first appeal of the case but has been denied justice due to interference by rogue judges.
