Abstract
- The article discusses the highlights of the twenty-fourth annual convention of the National Canners Association in January 1931 held in Chicago, Illinois. Topics discussed include the launch of the paper container and the increasing popularity of the bottling of tomato juice. Attendees also talked about the bargain rates set by chain stores for their canned goods. In addition, attendees expressed their concern about the possible threat posed by quick-freezing to canning.
