Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the impacts of total solar eclipse which occurred in Novosibirsk, Russia on August 1, 2008 in atmospheric electric field (AEF). It mentions the interpretation of results through a new AEF model that was derived from a concept regarding the detachment of charges from the atmosphere caused by the gravitational field. It notes that temperature changes during the eclipse had allowed the study to demonstrate the variations at the lower atmospheric layer in the normal distribution of eclipse. Moreover, results of the study indicate the lower value of long-range action in the case solar eclipse in Novosibirsk as compared to the situation of cyclones that occurred in Kamchatka.
