Abstract

The article presents a case study of an 81-year-old man with asymptomatic papulonodular eruption on the trunk and limbs that lasts for 20 days. The patient was diagnosed of chronic myelomonocytic disorder on smears from peripheral blood (PB) and bone marrow aspiration (BMA). He died of acute monoblastic leukaemia after four months since the start of skin eruption. It clarifies the equivocal immunohistochemical result of undetermined cell distinction found on the skin biopsy sample.
