Abstract

The article reports on the debate in the House of Commons of Great Britain over the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). Member of Parliament (MP) Jonathan Reynolds pointed out the government's failure to provide health services to children with autism and mental health problems, while MP Annette Brooke stressed the need to train CAMHS professionals. Parliamentary Undersecretary of State for Health, Anne Milton, pointed out that the standards of care highlighted in the society's report, titled "You Need to Know," were unacceptable.
