A Method for Advancing Quality of Life in Home Care.

Improved quality of life for clients in the community is the goal of home care, but a strategy is needed to bring that goal to the forefront of service and to advance its focus in clinical practice. A model for advancing a quality-of-life focus in home care, developed as part of a research intervention, has been utilized in several large home care settings.
