Abstract

We report the case of a 28-year-old man who presented with the sole complaint of lumbago. Spinal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a solitary, welldefined intramedullary mass at the L1-L2 level typical of a primary spinal cord germinoma. However, cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed a concomitant lesion in the suprasellar region. This article describes a rare case of simultaneously detected intracranial and intramedullary spinal cord germinoma and its possible etiopathology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
