Abstract

The article describes the diplomatic message of U.S. Ambassador Charles Mac-Veagh to Japan. It was observed that he often speaks of U.S. sports and sportsmen. Given is a forensic passage cited in news organs throughout the country which relates that men who do the sport for sport's sake are part of the highest class in the country, and countries with the same class of sports representatives competing can expect a friendship between the nations.
