Contract Value Assessment under the Portuguese Public Contract Code: Relevance for the Selection of the Awarding Procedure.

The article discusses the identification of some interpretative guidelines to determine the contract value under the Portuguese Public Contract Code (PCC) with the help of European legislation in Portugal. It explains that PCC is enacted by Decree-Law 18/2008 of January 29 that introduces the Directives 2004/17/ECl. In this regard, it mentions the guidelines of PCC to determine the contract value including economic benefit and public supply agreements.
