Abstract
- The article discusses a study which investigated the accuracy of pleural ultrasonography (PU) during pneumothorax follow-up after drainage. The study included 44 unilateral pneumothoraces and 162 chest radiograph (CXR) and PU tests. It found that PU results can be obtained faster than CXR results. Study authors concluded that PU is very accurate in detecting residual pneumothorax during pneumothorax follow-up after drainage.
