Abstract

The article focuses on the Internet industry company Groupon, which offers discounts on goods and services to subscribers. The company's explosive growth, which has seen it increase to $500 million in revenue in 2010 after being founded in 2008, is discussed. Groupon's marketing management, in which all the Internet advertising it employs is created in-house and managed without the use of advertising agencies or media buying services, is considered.
