Abstract
- The article reports on the conflict between Pope John Paul II and the Jesuits, which began when the latter kept busying themselves in social actions and question the papal teachings. It notes that the Jesuits are the largest and most dominant of the men's orders with far-flung influence in theology, education and missions. It highlights the move of the pope that suspends the normal working and removed the acting leader of the organization.
