Abstract

The article discusses the growing concerns in the U.S. on reports that Soviet Union is set to attack Poland. It is stated that U.S. Vice President George Bush has told Polish Deputy Premier Mieczyslaw Jagielski that the U.S. expects other countries to stop interfering in Poland's internal affairs. It is reported that the Polish economic condition is deteriorating and the Communist government is planning to declared state of emergency in the country.
