- The article offers information on the protest by the workers of the Poland over the shortage of food and demands for their rights. It states that the protest initiated from the strike by shipyard workers in the Baltic port of Gdansk, spread to about 400 factories and enterprises throughout the country. The workers also protested against the radical political reforms.
