Abstract
- The article presents the two invaders from Italy. Enrico Mattei, boss of Eni, has outraged the major oil companies by flooding their European markets with his own gasoline and by moving into the Middle East and Asia with drilling bids. Charles Forte, chairman of Agip (Great Britain) Ltd., had multiple motives for embarking on his British venture.
