Abstract

The article reports on the appointment of the National Advisory Committee on Inter-American Affairs by the U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower in 1959. The appointment is attributed to the worsening relations of the country with Cuba and Panama. Cuban Ministry of State rolls a pamphlet containing atrocity pictures which proved that the country was responsible for Havana bombing and strafing. In response, Cuban Minister Ra Roa delivers a white paper charging economic aggression.
