Abstract

The article focuses on propagandistic protests made by Egyptian politician Gamal Nasser against King Hussein of Jordan in 1957. It states that despite criticisms coming from Nasser, Hussein remained confident and continued to impose his campaign in schools of Cairo, Egypt to prevent any form of demonstration against him. It also says that the words of Nasser seemed to backfire as Palestinian refugees and leaders pledged their loyalty to Hussein.
