Abstract

The article focuses on Russia's support for Syria due to attack threats from Turkey. Soviet Union Statesman Nikita Khrushchev warns at Turkish embassy that Soviet Union will interfere when Turkey is set for attack. It says that Russia also offers an estimated 100 million dollars with interest rates of 2.5% to support Syria's economic development. It adds that Middle East countries like Egypt and the Arabs were dismayed for the Russia's action as it threatens Arab solidarity.
