Abstract
- The article discusses how British Conservative Party Minister of Works David Eccles argued that Prime Minister Winston Churchill was not a warmonger as socialists called him in the past. According to Eccles, the U.S. would not be negotiating with the Russians if Churchill did not persuade them to do so. The "London's Economist" claimed that the victory of the Conservative Party candidates over Labor members in Harwich, Yorkshire, represents a win for Churchill's administration.
