Abstract

The article profiles Pope Pius XII, Bishop of Rome and Vicar of Jesus Christ. He was born Eugenio Pacelli and the first Roman to wear the triple crown in two centuries. He set up a radio station and a power house in the Vatican in Rome, Italy, allowed mass to be performed in the afternoon to give opportunity for workers to attend and led a spiritual fight against Communism. He is known as the Pope of the people because he has met more people than any other Pope in the history.
