Abstract
- The article focuses on the move by Democratic presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson to stay at La Osa ranch in Tucson, Arizona following his defeat in the U.S. election in November 1952. He intended to sleep, play tennis and hunt duck and deer at the ranch. Stevenson revealed to reporters and photographers that he was significantly affected by the defeat. He expressed his hope that his party will take a position of positive and intelligent opposition.
