Abstract
- The article discusses the campaigning by General Dwight Eisenhower to gain the support of his fellow Republican Party members in his bid to become his party's bet in the 1952 U.S. presidential elections. His main rival for the nomination is Senator Robert Taft. In his campaign sorties, Eisenhower presented his positions in various issues like socialized medicine. The opinion of Republican statesman John Foster Dulles on Eisenhower is also cited.
