Abstract
- The article features doctors Ronald T. Grant and E. Basil Reeve, and the use of the term shock in the medical profession. Grant and Reeve were physicians who treated victims of bombings and accidents that transpired during World War II. During that time, they decided to drop the use of the term shock as it could mean several medical conditions.
