Abstract
- The article reports on the lawsuit filed by Sunbeam against R. H. Macy & Co. (Macy) of Manhattan, New York in early November 1951. In the court case, Sunbeam claims that Macy has illegally restrained trade by selling the Mixmasters products over 3 dollars below the wholesale price. According to Sunbeam, Macy has led several Sunbeam contracting wholesalers and retailers to breach their contracts by reselling Sunbeam's merchandise to Macy's at lower than the contract fair trade price.
