An Ox for a Hero.

The article features U.S. Air Force Major Dean Hess. He was an ordained minister in the Church of the Disciples of Christ. He enlisted when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and won the Air Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He trained South Korean fighter pilots and supported the U.S. 25th Infantry Division, winning the Army's Silver Star. He was honored by South Korean President Syngman Rhee and General Kim Chung Yul with an ox.
