Abstract

The article reports that newspapers can expect reductions of from 5 percent to 15 percent in the amount of paper they want in 1951. The reasons for the trend include the increased British spending on newsprint from Canada. Another is the fact that U.S. newspapers have gone bigger that they are now using 60 percent of the total world supply.
