Abstract

The article focuses on the Asian policy outlined by Canada which seemed more conciliatory than the British policy. The main arguments stipulated in the policy were discussed by Canadian External Affairs Chief Lester Bowles Person. They include an opposition to a war with China, the need for a cease-fire in Korea, and accelerated rearmament and more aid to poor countries.
