Abstract

The article discusses the end of Clement Attlee's term as Prime Minister of Great Britain in February 1950, in which the voters would decide whether the Labor Party should be given another five years to continue and extend their experiment on Socialism. It says that Attlee had given Britain a new way of life aside from giving freedom to Ceylon, Burma and India. The author adds that British politician Winston Churchill called Attlee's Socialism as Queuetopia, which refers to the regime of queues, womb-to-womb security and 40 percent taxes.
