Abstract
- The article discusses the death of a 26 year-old boxer Ernie Knox in a bout in Baltimore Maryland last week and this it's implications on the sport of boxing. It denounces the actions of callous promoters to organize irresponsible fights that may destroy the sport of boxing. It presents medical findings on how the boxer died from fatal injury during a fight with fellow boxer Wayne Bethea. It reveals anomalies on the promotion of the fight handled by manager Mack Lewis including weight discrepancies if Knox is a legitimate heavyweight fighter.
