Abstract
- The article features Daniel V. Gallery, commandant of the 10th Naval District and commander of the Caribbean Sea Frontier, with headquarters in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Gallery is credited for introducing official Little League baseball to Puerto Rico, which culminated in the country's victory over Venezuela. He is also a fan of the Chicago White Sox, the team in which he was inspired to sell score cards as a boy and he was once a third baseman. It is mentioned that Gallery's passion for the Little League is supported by a correspondent named Morgan.
