Abstract
- The article focuses on the concern by the health researchers in Canada over the move by the Canadian government to replace the mandatory long-form census of the country with a voluntary survey. Researchers claim that the population data collected from such approach will be biased and will restrain research into the health's social determinants. Moreover, the Canadian Institute for Health and Information and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research declined to comment on the issue.
