Historiography and Invisible Musics: Domestic Chamber Music in Nineteenth-Century Britain.

The article offers information related to the music historiography in Great Britain. It comments that a persistent idea in chamber music historiography is that 19th century Britain lacked a significant, serious chamber-music culture of the type so prevalent in Austro-Germany.
