Abstract
- The article presents the study that investigates several patterns of the monthly rainfall shortage in Spain using long-term series of monthly rain amounts. Researchers estimate the median of the empirical monthly rain amounts. It defines monthly shortage as a set of consecutive months with amounts lower than the corresponding monthly medians.
