Abstract

The article discusses the Apollo 12 mission to the moon with astronauts Charles Conrad, Richard Gordon, and Alan Bean on November 1969. It says that a power failure occurred but the astronauts were able to manage it. It explores the risks of the mission such as engine failure which would require a new course for the landing site in the Ocean of Storms. Moreover, the astronauts would inspect the Surveyor 3 which landed on the moon on April 1967 and would leave instruments on the lunar surface.
