Abstract

The article reports on the research conducted by psychiatrist Samuel Klagsbrun on the psychological atmosphere of patients, doctors, and nurses at a cancer ward of Yale New Haven Hospital in Connecticut. Klagsbrun explains the crucial roles of nurses on dying cancer patients. It shows that Klagsbrun's program at the cancer ward has open the spirit of communications between the patients, nurses, and doctors.
