Abstract

The article focuses on the emergence of hecklers to the political campaigns of the 1968 U.S. Presidential race. It says that the hecklers are a group of college students who are comprised of radicals and antiwar protesters calling for the destruction of the political system as well as dissenting moderates. It adds that political candidates have found ways on how to prevent hecklers such as sharing of microphone to the noisiest hecklers and allowing students to sing to counter the campaign.
