Abstract
- The article focuses on the catheter introduced by Dr. Sadek K. Hilal that could swim through arteries inside the brain at the meeting of the American Roentgen Ray Society. It says that the catheter is a thin tube of Silastic (silicone rubber) with a magnetic tip that can be guided by a radiologist or a neurologist to the exact location in the artery. Hilal said that it is also possible to use the catheter to inject anti-cancer drugs into brain tumors.
